Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
We accept insurance for therapist sessions but FSA/HSA cards can be used for intake and coaching sessions. AHCCCS coverage will be available soon which will cover intake and coaching sessions as well.
Why do I have to schedule an intake appointment?
Our therapists are currently scheduled out several weeks. In an effort to get help quickly, our intake specialists will work with you to review your background, develop a treatment plan and review the complete level of services provided. If it is determined that immediate help is needed, our intake specialist can get you in sooner to meet with one of our licensed therapists. What is a Perinatal Coach and why do you have them?
Our coaches are specially trained supporters who have gone through their own journey with a Perinatal Mood or Anxiety Disorder. They provide peer support, education, and help you navigate available services. They focus on goals and walk alongside you throughout the process. In addition, our coaches work with our therapists to provide a true team approach for you and your family. How long will therapy take?
Each individual case is different, so it isn’t possible to give a definite time frame. However, the goal is always to move forward toward wellness and get out of therapy. Will I have to go on medication?
Our staff does not prescribe medication, but we do work closely with many of the prescribers who specialize in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. If medication is warranted, we can make a referral. However, not all women need to go on medication. Our staff provides best practice treatment along with knowledge and resources in complementary alternatives. We work as a team to determine the best treatment plan for your individual needs. |
