Arizona Maternal Mental Health Experts

Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona: Compassionate Maternal Mental Health Care.

Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona (WHI) was founded to close the gap in women’s mental health care—especially during pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. For too long, the focus had been solely on the baby’s health, leaving mothers feeling unseen and unsupported. WHI was created to change that by providing compassionate, accessible, and evidence-based care for women navigating the perinatal period.

As our clients began asking for support for their children, partners, and families, we listened—and responded. Over time, we also saw many clients returning as they entered new life transitions, motivating us to expand our services beyond the perinatal years to support individuals and families across the lifespan.

Today, our team of licensed therapists, support coaches, and mentors continues to raise awareness and improve treatment for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs)—while also offering counseling, education, and holistic support that evolves with every stage of life.

Whether you’re experiencing challenges during pregnancy, parenting, or another season of transition, WHI is here to help. We walk alongside women and families with individualized care designed to help you heal, grow, and thrive.

If you or someone you love needs mental health support in Arizona, contact Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona today to learn more about our programs, services, and community resources.

A NOTE FROM OUR PREVIOUS CLIENT

The Gift of Mental Health Support.

"If I could, I would give every woman the gift of support around mental health. I think a lot of women feel shame around seeking help for postpartum depression and anxiety - I definitely did. I started with their group meetings and then used one on one therapy. I learned that postpartum depression and anxiety are much more common than I even realized. I was able to find an actual community of ladies that were all in my same boat. I feel so much less alone. I also feel really hopeful. This was the most impactful thing I gained from this company - HOPE. I’m a better spouse, mother, daughter, and friend because I’m making progress in finding joy in the day to day - when I wasn’t able to see it before."

Life-Changing Testimonies • "Maria quite literally saved my life." •

A NOTE FROM OUR  PREVIOUS CLIENT

Get Life-Changing Mental Health Support.

"Maria Ward quite literally saved my life. I have been a patient of Maria's since April 2020. I was referred to Women's Health Innovations by a fellow fertility warrior who had also experienced loss herself. I was being seen due to the traumatic loss of my IVF twin babies in March. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Maria. I felt welcomed, and most importantly, I felt as though she had my best interest in mind. The first time we met, she knew I needed help and immediately sprung into action - it was the first time any person has been there to get me the immediate help I needed. I left our session that day being able to take a deep breath and knew that she is going to help me save myself."
