Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Do you have trouble getting out of your rut? Are you often angry, sad or irritable? Have you ever said something, then the moment after you regretted saying it? You may need DBT!
DBT is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy. The main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions and improve relationships with others.
Join us for this six-week group offered by the experts at WHI on Wednesdays from 5 - 6:30 PM and Saturdays from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. We will work with you to bill your insurance.
Attending both weekly sessions is recommended for optimal effectiveness of this program.
“Circle of Security”
Help build an emotionally secure attachment with your child by learning to understand how your child communicates their needs.
The Circle of Security is a visual map of attachment that helps parents and caregivers learn how to read their child's cues while attending to their child in a manner that is bigger, stronger, wiser and kind. This group is taught by one of WHI AZ's compassionate experts.
Registration is required, and there are options to bill insurance for the cost of this group. For more information about the Circle of Security Network, please click here.
*This group is limited to ten people.*
A therapeutic program for pregnant and postpartum women. While pregnant, we are often taught to think of and care for the expecting baby, but too often we forget to care for ourselves.
Join our therapy group designed to assist mothers and mothers-to-be needing mental and emotional support through their pregnancy and postpartum journey. Each group session is facilitated by a licensed therapist, experienced in perinatal mood disorders and changes that come with the perinatal and postpartum periods.
Registration is required.
There is no fee to attend these sessions.
